Dear members of Slope Fitness,
Slope Fitness will open for indoor activities on September 2nd. We will be adhering to the protocols for everyone's health and safety. Please click here for the detailed NYS protocols and click here for the summary version.
With localities carrying out the Dept of Health inspections, the mayor has stated that indoor classes will not be permitted at this time. Personal training and general gym usage is allowed. Classes will still be held outdoors on the roof and/or Zoom. Our reservation system will remain the same for that. Click here to register.
We will be requiring members to adhere to all the guidelines we have in place here at the club:
The safety of our members and the staff has always been my number one concern. If I did not feel confident that Slope Fitness could meet and exceed the safety protocols for re-opening indoors then I wouldn't.
I thank you for your patience and your dedication through it all.
See you soon.

We will be requiring members to adhere to all the guidelines we have in place here at the club:
- We will be requiring (the approved) face masks to be worn at all times. No bandanas - No neck gaiters - No buffs - No masks with air valves.
- Our hours during this re-opening will be as follows: Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 8:00 pm and Sat/Sun 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Here are the things we will not be offering during this first stage of re-opening: No day care - No coffee bar - No towel service - No showers - No saunas - No water fountains - No outside food - No eating allowed - No guests
- Only closed water bottles or sports drinks allowed. Please do not bring in coffee or tea.
- We will be limiting capacity to 33% of our zoned amount of 240. This allows us to have 80 people in any one hour. Anyone who has been in the club knows we have never exceeded 25-30 people during our busiest times.
- Every other piece of cardio equipment will be placed out of order as it was prior to the shutdown to promote social distancing.
- We will be doing mandatory screenings of members and staff everyday upon check in.
- We have MERV 13 filters installed in our HVAC systems and for additional safety measures, we installed UV-C lighting added into the same units.
- We have individual spray disinfectant bottles for members to use and sanitizing stations throughout the club.
- Every member upon their first visit to the club will be oriented by myself and the staff.
- We will allow a small bag and a light jacket on the gym floor during this time to avoid overcrowding in the locker rooms.
- We will not be able to hold items for you behind the front desk, charge phones, etc.
